POSITIVE VIBRATION, winner of Best New Festival at the UK Festival Awards is not just a showcase of some of the best reggae acts, a gathering of the region’s most fervent dub fans and an excellent way to spend a sunny June weekend. There is also a programme of top family-friendly entertainment, mega tasty food and The Art Of Reggae Exhibition.

The Art Of Reggae Exhibition follows on from the success of the shows debut at last years festival when a vibrant selection of reggae themed posters and artworks were displayed and auctioned. Taking place ahead of the main festival programme at Constellations on 7th June in collaboration with The International Reggae Poster Contest, there will be more than 100 posters on display from a variety of artists and designers from around the world.

Profits from the silent auction go to Alpha Boys’ School, the vocational institution for underprivileged youths in Kingston, Jamaica. A fantastic cause in the heart of the Jamaican capital, the school is also notable for producing some reggae legends such as Don Drummond or the Skalites, Tommy McCook and Yellowman. Without such institutions who knows if international celebrations like Positive Vibration would even exist?

You can view the posters which will be on display at The Art Of Reggae Exhibition here.

Positive Vibration takes place at Constellation on 9th-10th June. Tickets are available from Skiddle.
