Sound City has unveiled the first collection of artists set to play the 13th edition of the festival next summer.
The three day celebration of independent and grassroots music takes place from 1-3rd May 2020, opening with the Sound City+ industry conference.
The first headliner revealed is Manchester goth-pop quartet PALE WAVES, with THE LATHUMS, STEALING SHEEP and THE MYSTERINES also confirmed for the festival.
Elsewhere on the bill, JAMIE WEBSTER, TIM BURGES, THE BLINDERS and THE LOTTERY WINNERS have also been announced, with further additions including ABBIE OZZARD, CATHOLIC ACTION, FEVER, SOPHIE AND THE GIANTS, TALKBOY and WARGASM.
Since 2018, the festival has re-established itself in Liverpool city centre which now sees the two day event taking over venues within the Baltic Triangle with an additional outdoor stage. 2019 saw Loyle Carner, Mabel, Shame, Confidence Man and Slowthai play the festival, with the display reaffirming Sound City’s commitment to providing a platform for international artists and emerging talent.
