Sound – 21/06
Returning one year on with just four members short of a football team, seven-man Welsh dreamy pop group GINTIS play their second live show at Duke Street’s Sound, with support from synaesthesia-inducing STEPHEN KERRISON and country-vocal-harmony pop group THE PELICAN BAND. Gintis finalise their spring tour in Liverpool, in form of celebration upon release of their new single, Four Movements (1,2,3 & 5) / You’re The One I’m Keen On, recorded with Bill Ryder-Jones. Gintis have been part of the North West music scene for quite some time now – just over 15 years, in fact, making “silly songs for sentimental people”. And who doesn’t love that?
