07/08 & 14/08 – Invisible Wind Factory
Bringing live music back with a bang, FESTEVOL are taking over the Invisible Wind Factory with two all-day festivals on Saturday 7th and 14th August. Making up for lost time, each all-day festival will run from 1pm till 1am, setting the stalls for a hedonist all-nighter we’ve patiently been anticipating.
The first all-dayer sees artists and DJs from the electronic, indie and rock soundscapes take to the stage. Electronic producer and musician KELLY LEE OWENS, with hits Luminous Spaces and Bird, headlines the day alongside synth pop band WORKING MEN’S CLUB. Other acts gracing the cavernous space include STEALING SHEEP, TEA STREET BAND and BUZZARD BUZZARD BUZZARD. Post-punk band IST IST will also be performing as well as electronica artist SKIA alongside HAARM and THE DSM IV. Disk jockeys JADE LI, BEAR GROWLS, KATIE OWEN, MRPAUL and LIQUIDATION SOUNDSYSTEM will be on hand to keep the atmosphere flowing right through the 12-hour event.
Part 2 at the IWF will also see a blend of acts from electronic, indie, indie-pop and rock genres. The venue will split into two rooms each hosting live music plus a garden full of DJs, ensuring an endless stream of live music. London four-piece THE BIG MOON will be headlining, with other indie bands making their way to the stage such as THE ORIELLES, BLACK HONEY, AVERAGE SEX and local band THE PEACH FUZZ. DJs include JAGZ KOONER, TOKKY HORROR, KATIE OWEN, JADE LI, BEAR GROWLS, JIMMY ALLEN and LIQUIDATION SOUNDSYSTEM.
A whole range of other artists will be playing at the Summer all-dayers including Bido Lito! Issue 113 cover artist PIXEY, HANNAH’S LITTLE SISTER, TRUDY & THE ROMANCE, THE NINTH WAVE, WALT DISCO and more.
