Parr Street Studio2 – 07/06
Parr Street’s Studio2 presents a special, first of its time show featuring three solo acoustic artists sharing stage. ESME BRIDIE, HENRY BATEMAN and RIC NEALE’s performance will consist of each artists sharing their own solo material- however, here’s the twist. The show will include duo and trio collaborations collectively from each artist. Born and raised in Merseyside, Esme Bridie began song writing as a teenager, under the influences of classic songwriters such as Joni Mitchell and Paul Simon, combining elements of folk, pop, blues, jazz and indie, being the main formula resulting in her unique style. As described by Spill Magazine, Henry Bateman is “perhaps the greatest undiscovered talent of today”. Influenced by Peter Gabriel, with guitar style distinct to Nick Drake and Michael Hedges, Henry is a Leeds based artist who has been critically acclaimed across his three albums released by the age of 22, including his most recently released record, Hide & Seek. Bringing five brand new original songs to the stage with him, solo pianist and songwriter Ric Neale completes the trio. After just finishing as songwriter and musical director of the sell-out show, Dancing Bear, Ric joins Esme and Henry as part of Liverpool Acoustic’s first ever hosted live performance. Tickets are available now via Ticket Quarter.
