There’s good news and bad news from the Baltic Triangle as another one of the city’s favourite festivals has had to concede to the pandemic. However, the announcement of a cracking line-up for a 2021 date will have festival goers counting down the days to the next POSITIVE VIBRATION.
The award-winning festival is returning to the venues of the Baltic Triangle over 11th and 12th June 2021 with heavyweights on the bill including GENTLEMEN’S DUB CLUB, HOLLIE COOK and THE TWINKLE BROTHERS.
As well as a sterling offering of live music the festival will host a range of activities and workshops for the whole family including local spoken word legends and activists LEVI TAFARI and CURTIS WATT delivering dub poetry classes.
It’s another blow to 2020’s much-depleted festival calendar but the promise of a line-up which also brings the likes of DON LETTS, MAD PROFESSOR and MELLOW MOOD to the city provides something special to look forward to next summer.
Positive Vibration organisers have said: “We were really excited to be returning to the Baltic Triangle, Liverpool and couldn’t wait to see all of your wonderful faces, but the health, safety and well-being of the audience, performers, staff, volunteers and everyone else involved in the festival is paramount”
Fortunately, the venues, lineup and other activities planned for this year will roll over into
next year. Therefore, if you have already bought a ticket, you are advised to keep hold of it,
as it will still be valid for next year.”
The Reggae Q&A will also be making a comeback in 2021 with journalist JOHN ROBB and other industry experts leading panel conversations. The ever popular Art of Reggae Exhibition will exhibit over 100 reggae-inspired posters designed by international illustrators and artists.
