Artist development programme LIMF ACADEMY has opened its doors to a new intake once again. Merseyside-based artists aged between 16-25 are encouraged to apply to the scheme before the closing date of 9th June.
Now in its sixth year, the project provides emerging talent with a suite of fantastic sessions, financial investment as well as other goodies such as PRS For Music membership and rehearsal time with Pirate Studios.
Counting the likes of Lauren Hill support act JALEN N’GONDA, Bido Lito! cover stars ELEANOR NELLY and SUB BLUE amongst it’s alumni the programme has established itself as a cornerstone of the city’s music infrastructure.

Speaking about LIMF Academy, graduate PIZZAGIRL said: ““Being involved with the LIMF Academy was super helpful for me to be able to learn about parts of the industry that aren’t necessarily highlighted, speaking to likeminded people about their processes and experiences and also have a platform to share my music to a festival audience. which is especially important to me as a solo music maker!”
Current Academy artists will all appear to Liverpool International Festival on 20th-21st July alongside the likes of DE LA SOUL, SIGMA and KATHY SLEDGE (of Sister Sledge).
