As a music community we are facing an uncertain future as we navigate our way through some continuously precarious months. Venues are suffering, promoters are needing to constantly re-evaluate, educators, rehearsal rooms, tourism venues – all subject to ever-shifting scenarios.

Playing In Part I – Financial impacts on musicians

Playing In Part II – Live streaming and creativity

This situation will not last forever and as a community we need to pull together and ensure we help each other through to come back as strong as possible on the other side.

On Tuesday 27th October we want to hear from all areas of Liverpool’s music industry. As part of the Playing In research project with University of Liverpool, Bido Lito! is pulling together a comprehensive report to guide Liverpool City Region Music Board’s rebuild project for the city’s music sector.

Representatives from all areas of Liverpool City Region’s music industry are invited to the Zoom event which aims to take a health check of the sector. Focus group conversations looking at how areas such as live music, education, tourism and artist development will produce qualitative data to contribute to a report which will inform LCR Music Board’s path to recovery.

To register your interest in the event please fill out this form and we will be in touch.
