A WALK DOWN LEASOWE ROAD is the culmination of a three year photo-documentary project by Bido Lito!’s very own Glyn Akroyd. The exhibition zeros in on the understated human fixtures and imposing natural vistas lining the road on the Wirral, with the collection of images reeling in the landscape’s subtle co-existence of urban and rural influence.
The full exhibition is currently on display at Bloom Building in Birkenhead, the new home of the Open Door Centre mental health and wellbeing charity.
On Thursday 28th February Bido Lito! Issue 97 social will take place at Bloom with performances from Ana Mae, Dan Disgrace and Podge. A Walk Down Leasowe Road, among other exhibited works, will also be on display.
All profits from the show will be donated to the Open Door Centre.
Bido Lito! members get free entry to the social with non-members able to buy tickets here.
